Keeping up development


Hey everyone,

First of all, it's been a while but I am still alive, wooh!

But seriously, I discovered something very valuable in these last months: keeping up the development of a game is hard, especially when it is your free time which you spend coding, designing, and what else doing for the project. Fitting a FULL game dev into my free time has proven to be quite difficult, which you can see by comparing the upload dates of the game versions.

But nonetheless, I plan on putting aside some time of the week from now on, solely for working on this game, as I am passionate about it and want to see other people play and enjoy it.


Now, enough of my complaining, let's get to the business part:

Changes:
The new Version Alpha 1.0.2 brings a bit more story before the main character truly arrives at the newfound college of their choice. As well as a few tweaks and stitches to existing game mechanics.

Planned:
As of right now, at first I plan to implement only the story for TTC and bring it to a playable and more importantly enjoyable state, before throwing myself into the BTU story part of the game. Therefore eliminating the risk of utter confusion between the two story lines while development is still ongoing.
Furthermore, I plan to do some art and possibly include it ingame for further immersion and enjoyment of the player.
Plus, with the artsy part, a rework/update of the game page on here will come too.


This shall be it for the second devlog of Hunters' Haven: University Pursuit.
